Principal's Message

Dear Jones Middle School Families, 

Welcome to the 2025 – 2026 school year!  We are thrilled to welcome our students and staff back to school.  We hope you were able to relax and make special memories with your friends and families.  It is time to look forward to a wonderful new school year as we "Soar to Academic Excellence and Beyond" at Jones Middle School. 

It is with great excitement that I introduce myself as the new Principal of Jones Middle School. I am honored to have the opportunity to join such a dedicated and passionate school community, and I look forward to working alongside you to continue supporting our students’ growth, learning, and well-being. 

Over the past seven and a half years, I have had the privilege of serving in administrative roles within the Baldwin Park Unified School District—first as an Assistant Principal, and most recently as Principal of De Anza Elementary. With over two decades in education, my journey has also included roles as a secondary teacher and a Teacher on Special Assignment (ToSA). These experiences have grounded me in the belief that student success is built on strong relationships, collaborative leadership, and a shared commitment to excellence. 

The office staff has worked hard to finalize class lists, ensure your child is registered, and has access to a Chromebook and textbooks, and confirm that classrooms have adequate supplies. The custodial staff has done an incredible job cleaning all classrooms and common areas to provide students with a clean learning atmosphere for the new school year.   

We, at Jones Middle School, aim to prepare our students with 21st-century skills and set them on the path to college and career. We also work consistently to instill in our students the PRIDE values (Participation, Respect, Integrity, Dependability, and Empathy). We create an environment for your child to thrive and learn how to overcome their challenges, discover possibilities within the impossible, with your support as parents, by collaborating with the school.  Once again, I welcome you back to school and thank you for your commitment to your child's education.  I look forward to seeing you soon.
